National hydrogen race – Horizon GP 2023

3rd National hydrogen powered car race took a place on 10th of June! More than 50 students and 10 teachers from 6 cities (Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Vratza, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse and Sofia) around the country participated.

All teams have developed their own hydrogen powered car with fuel cell technology. The 4-hour race awards the team, who made most laps at the end.

Special thanks to our main partner Merx Global, who supported our team’s travel and participation at the World finals in USA! The founders of the company, Bulgarian prodigy brothers Pavel and Christian Peneff visited our race and teams!

We are also thankful to supporting partners like Lenovo Bulgaria and ING Bulgaria who believed in us and supported this race!

The big winner 18th school “William Gladstone” Sofia – will represent Bulgaria at the world finals in Las Vegas, USA (8-12 of September). Stay tuned for more info!

We are happy to announce that our new groups in robotics, programming and 3D printing for students are now open. Our groups are suitable both for advanced and beginners with main age groups 7-10 and 11-14 years old.

Amazing experience for the whole crew and the students after 6 months hard work and dedication in order to participate in the world final for robotics in Singapore - First Global! We are extremely proud by our students - Simeon, Alexander, Victor and Mario, part of 90 SU Sofia and of course their main mentor Angel Yordanov, who together raced with more than 190 countries from around the world!

4th consecutive year Bulgaria has a team in the world hudrogen race! After dramatic win in the National competition team Sofia from 18th school "William Gladstone" traveled to USA and represented our country among 30 other countries! Our team won their qualification and enter the final with the second best time!
